Empowering the Bio-Based Sector for Solid Waste Management in Humanitarian Settings

Our first thematic webinar will centre on the results collected through Bio4HUMAN Humanitarian Needs Assessment Report. The report was led by People in Need, with significant collaboration from Polish Humanitarian Action.The Humanitarian Needs Assessment Report compiles qualitative and quantitative data collected from humanitarian stakeholders who responded to our surveys. Its findings focus on the types of waste present in humanitarian settings, solid waste management (SWM) standards and sustainable models, and the current state of SWM in these settings. The report also presents the main challenges related to SWM in humanitarian settings and opportunities, including the potential use of bio-based solutions, the identification of which is the ultimate goal of our project.

OHARTARAZPENA
Ekitaldien agenda honetan erakutsitako informazioa HAZIrekin zerikusirik ez duten kanpo-iturrietatik dator, eta sektoreko hainbat webgunetan bilaketa-sistema automatizatu baten bidez biltzen da. Ekitaldien jabetza intelektuala eta datuen, deskribapenen, daten eta beste edozein xehetasunen gaineko erantzukizuna argitaratzen diren jatorrizko webguneei soilik dagokie. HAZIk ez du bermatzen erakutsitako informazioaren zehaztasuna, indarraldia edo egiazkotasuna, eta ez du inolako erantzukizunik hartzen argitaratutako ekitaldietan gerta daitezkeen aldaketengatik, ezeztapenengatik, akatsengatik edo omisioengatik. HAZIk ez du bere gain hartuko agenda hori erabiltzeak edo antolatzaileek ekitaldiak ez betetzeak, aldatzeak edota bertan behera uzteak eragindako kalterik.
