Grants for productive investments in aquaculture: production diversification

Objetive

Foment competitiveness in the sector by means of productive investments to attain sustainable and competitive aquaculture, particularly SMEs, targeting: c) d), e) , f)

  • Productive investments in aquaculture to diversify aquatic production and species cultivated.
  • Improve and modernise aquaculture centres.
  • Improvements and modernisation related to the health and well-being of animals.
  • Improve the quality of aquaculture products.
  • Recover ponds or aquaculture lagoons by eliminating sludge or investments to prevent sludge deposits.
  • Diversify aquaculture revenue through complementary activities related to the company's main aquaculture activity..

Targeting

  • Beneficiaries of these grants may be existing aquaculture companies or those creating new aquaculture companies.

Description

The grant's intensity is established based on objective criteria applicable, as well as weighting the criteria as follows:

  • Project technical feasibility, up to 50 points.
  • Project's collective interest, up to 50 points.

The grant is paid once execution is proved, and payment of the subsidised investments, by presenting the invoices and receipts of their payment.
