{"id":1565,"date":"2020-01-29T18:01:49","date_gmt":"2020-01-29T17:01:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/onekin.eus\/?page_id=1565"},"modified":"2024-11-27T14:28:38","modified_gmt":"2024-11-27T13:28:38","slug":"basque-culinary-center","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/onekin.eus\/en\/centres-and-related-companies\/basque-culinary-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Basque Culinary Center"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/onekin.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/bcc-1.jpg\" alt=\"Logo Basque Culinary Center\" class=\"empresas-vin\">\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Since it was created in September 2011, Basque Culinary Center has been working to become an international role model, driving gastronomy as a springboard for socioeconomic development through the Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences and the Technological Sectorial Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Faculty offers the higher training cycle for Gastronomical Sciences, as well as different master&#8217;s degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Technological Centre, they conduct research and innovation projects with companies and other sectorial agents while driving entrepreneurship and the creation of new business throughout the entire gastro-food chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A few figures<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>390 jobs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In four years, it has generated 45 million euros, a 24 million euro contribution to the GDP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Recognitions<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In 2017: Award from the Istanbul Gastromasa Gastronomy Conference for social development and developing economic potential of gastronomy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"nav nav-tabs\">\n  <li><a data-toggle=\"tab\" href=\"#home\" class=\"active show\">Information of interest<\/a><\/li>\n  <li><a data-toggle=\"tab\" href=\"#menu1\">Website and contact<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div class=\"tab-content\">\n  <div id=\"home\" class=\"tab-pane fade in active\">\n\t  <p>It conducts and participates in international events, of which the following are of note:<\/p>\n\t  <ul>\n\t\t  <li>Culinary action, with different kinds of activities:\n<ul>\n<li>International forum with entrepreneurs and meeting forums.<\/li>\n<li>Annual acceleration processes.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bculinarylab.com\/quienes-somos\/\" title=\"Ir a p\u00e1gina de quienes somos del Basque Culinary Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LABe<\/a>: This is a laboratory, a living lab, that drives technological innovation in the sector, especially in the last part of its chain of value. In it, start-ups interact with established companies and knowledge-creation centres to co-create, experiment, develop, test and validate new products and services adapted to consumer reality.
