{"id":7576,"date":"2021-09-23T12:48:05","date_gmt":"2021-09-23T10:48:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/onekin.eus\/actualidad\/eit-food-publishes-the-report-what-generation-z-wants-from-a-healthy-food-system\/"},"modified":"2021-10-27T16:27:22","modified_gmt":"2021-10-27T14:27:22","slug":"eit-food-publishes-the-report-what-generation-z-wants-from-a-healthy-food-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onekin.eus\/en\/actualidad\/eit-food-publishes-the-report-what-generation-z-wants-from-a-healthy-food-system\/","title":{"rendered":"EIT Food publishes the report &#8220;What Generation Z wants from a healthy food system&#8221;."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Research commissioned by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eitfood.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EIT Food<\/a> reveals that young people across Europe want an overhaul in the way they access, discuss and learn about healthy foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After surveying more than 2,000 18-24 year olds across the UK, France, Germany, Poland and Spain, the results point to a generation that is highly interested and well-informed when it comes to their eating habits, placing particular emphasis on how food links to their wellbeing and mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>These savvy Gen-Zers prefer whole, organic and plant-based foods as some of their healthiest choices, and 79% consider processed foods to be unhealthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Young people seek more detailed information from brands, especially when it comes to how foods are made.
