The Thematic Group (TG) onNurturing Skills for a Thriving and Sustainable Agricultural Sectoraimed to explore needs and opportunities related to agricultural skills development and their updating, with a focus on the agricultural workforce and on the (new) skills needed to strengthen farmers in the food-supply chain.Aims of the meeting:Reviewing key insights from the activities gathered from the activities of the TG to date.Sharing best practices collected in the course of the TG.Exploring how the implementation of the CAP Strategic Plans and potentially other policies and tools can foster skills development in agriculture through the elaboration of action-oriented recommendations.Engaging participants in meaningful discussions to identify tools for skills development.
