BEATLES – which stands for “Behavioural Change Towards Climate-Smart Agriculture” – is a Horizon Europe project that began in July 2022, coordinated by the University of Athens, and bringing together 18 partners. BEATLES has set up five Use Cases in EU regions of Lithuania, Germany, Spain, Denmark and The Netherlands.The BEATLES EU multi-actor working group is a pan-European group driving Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) initiatives, bridging science, society, and policy across Europe.AEIDL (European Association for Innovation in Local Development) leads the work package on transition through policy recommendations and tools, and coordinates this EU group. We look for those most interested or involved in the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), from the point of view of Climate-Smart Agriculture, to have a primarily online space where we can have informal and open-ended discussions and exchange ideas about possible avenues to reinforce CSA practices in EU agriculture.
