Theoretical-practical course in agroecological entrepreneurship

ThePAC Networkhas launched the first edition of the semi-presential training course“Theoretical-practical course in agroecological entrepreneurship”. The aim of this course is for participants to achieve:a)Strengthen their capabilities to undertake agricultural and rural ventures by accessing information about the basic steps to carry out this task.b) Bemoreself-sufficientandsustainablein the development of theiragroecological entrepreneurship projects in rural areas.c) Be guided throughaclear and complete roadmapto choose, create and maintain your entrepreneurial project in rural areas.d) Develop your own agribusiness project in a rural environment or improve some aspect if a business is already underway.The course consists of theoretical-practical training in a blended format;with atotal duration of 36 hours, including the practical part.A commitment of80% attendance of the theoretical partand90% of the practical part is required.Theoretical part: online mode,from October 7 to October 23, 2024.Practical part:it will be carried outin person on weekends. Students will be divided into two groups, each group will receive practical training on one of the weekends.Group 1:October 26 and October 27, 2024Group 2:November 9 and November 10, 2024(Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00 and Sunday from 9:00 to 14:00)The course isaimed at entrepreneurs who are interested in carrying out agricultural and livestock activities in agroecology, have a defined project and want to receive specific training on knowledge about this business model; or who have already started their activity and want to improve it or delve deeper into fundamental aspects.Number of places: 20.Registration is mandatory and the deadline isSeptember 22at 11:59 p.m.REGISTRATIONOnce the deadline has ended and the applications have been assessed, all registered persons will be notified of the selection results via email.
