The AZTI Technological Centre carries out applied research in food and fishing. The NEIKER Technological Centre is specialised in agriculture and forestry.

Other Technological Centres also conduct applied research, such as: LEARTIKER (food technology).

AZTI, NEIKER and LEARTIKER are accredited by the Basque Network of Science and Technology as Sectorial Technological Centres.
