Aid for Basque companies participating in international public investment pilot projects
The PILOTU aid program, which offers non-refundable grants of up to €50,000 or 51% of the investment, is aimed at supporting those Basque companies participating in the design and development of international public investment pilot projects, through which the aim is to improve their international positioning and competitiveness.
Exports have contributed significantly to the development of the Basque economy and are a basic element in the profit and loss account of a significant number of companies that have discovered new horizons for growth and competitiveness in international activity. However, potential clients, especially when they are public bodies, find it difficult to take risks and implement imaginative solutions and are inclined to try pilot experiences and thus test the effectiveness of the method or system proposed by our companies. Even if the public body is willing to take the risk mentioned, it is often reluctant to assume the overall cost of the experiment.
With the aim of supporting Basque companies in this situation, we are launching the Pilotu program, through which they will be able to test their processes, methodologies and innovative proposals on a restricted scale so that they can be evaluated by a foreign public body. Each company may submit only one application per call.
We help you to demonstrate your company’s capabilities to foreign public bodies
01_ Up to 50,000 euros per company
The maximum eligible amount is 50,000 euros or 51% of the investment. Eligible costs include personnel, materials, consultancy and other expenses related to the execution of the project.
02_ Support to introduce your solutions in new international markets
This support not only minimizes financial risks, but also increases the confidence of potential international partners and customers, thus accelerating the entry into global markets and strengthening the international positioning of your company
03_ Prepare small-scale pilot projects that can be replicated on a larger scale
umerous international public organizations prefer to test new solutions through pilot projects before taking bigger risks. The Pilotu Program facilitates this initial stage, allowing, if the project is successful, the collaboration between the company and the public agency to be expanded.
In this way, projects can be replicated on a larger scale, maximizing their impact.
Successive resolution based on compliance with requirements and evaluation of the project according to weighted criteria.
