The calculation tool is used to estimate the amount of aid for the setting-up of new farmers provided by the Provincial Council of Araba under the GAZTENEK Programme 2023–2027: Gaztenek programm. ts objective is to facilitate the incorporation of young farmers, so that they can establish themselves in the agricultural sector for the first time, bringing young people with adequate professional qualifications into the sector, promoting generational renewal and thus contributing to its professionalization.

The results depend on the accuracy, veracity, and precision of the data entered by the user of the calculator. Therefore, the user must complete the different sections rigorously and realistically, taking into account the type of their specific project, planned investments in machinery and buildings, the possibility of direct sales, associations, etc.

The result of the calculation is an approximation, which in any case, once the project has been defined and presented by the applicant within the GAZTENEK program, will be checked and verified. This calculation is indicative and may be subject to potential regulatory changes, so it should always be reviewed and verified with the Provincial Council of Álava, Department of Agriculture.
