November, 2021System to collect information
Implementation of a system to collect information on temperature and humidity in soil and leaves of different types of crops, providing for autonomous irrigation as necessary for each one of the plants/trees.
By implementing humidity sensors in the soil and the leaves of crops, the degree of irrigation necessary can be supervised, either at soil-level or by sprinkling the upper part of the crop. This information collection, along with weather forecasts, decides whether or not to activate autonomous valves, which dispense water as necessary for the crop’s well-being.
Depending on the type of crop, different kinds of sensors, such as chromatic sensors, may be used. These include the service of plant-protection products if necessary, either through local drones or an irrigation canal.
