MEETING POINT FOR ALL AGENTS IN THE VALUE CHAIN OF FOOD, WOOD AND RURAL AND COASTAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY
APPLIED ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DATA ECONOMICS SPRI PROGRAM
Objetive
To support projects for the application of services and/or commercial solutions based on Artificial Intelligence in companies in the Basque Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, in order to activate the supply and demand of this technology in the Basque Country, in order to improve the competitiveness of companies. Likewise, support will be given to projects within the framework of strategic data management aimed at accelerating the adoption of solutions based on Artificial Intelligence.
Projects for the implementation of services and/or commercial solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, as well as for projects related to Data Strategy that allow the applicant companies to prepare their data infrastructures so that they can subsequently carry out Artificial Intelligence projects. They must be related to the application of services and/or commercial solutions based on Artificial Intelligence. They must accredit the use of Artificial Intelligence algorithms in areas such as Machine learning, Deep learning, Artificial Vision, or others.
Targeting
Individuals and legal entities that carry out business activities, regardless of the size of the company. They must have an activity center in the Basque Autonomous Community, where they will carry out the eligible activity.
Description
Non-repayable grants for projects to implement services and/or commercial solutions based on Artificial Intelligence and to prepare the data infrastructures to carry out these projects.
01_ Up to €100,000 to promote the use of Artificial Intelligence
Non-repayable aid of 50% and up to 100,000 euros per company for projects for the application of services and/or commercial solutions based on Artificial Intelligence to improve the competitiveness of companies.
Those projects that allow the applicant companies to prepare their data infrastructures so that they can subsequently carry out Artificial Intelligence projects will also be considered as eligible actions.
These projects must be executed within a maximum period of 12 months from the start of the project and, in any case, before March 31, 2026.
02_ External consultancy to make better use of your company’s data
You will be able to hire an external consultancy to offer you technical advice on how you can improve data management and help you identify projects where artificial intelligence could help you find data of value to your business.
You will be able to rely on data for decision making, with projects focused on data architecture and advanced analytics, such as the development of Business Intelligence tools or Machine Learning.
03_ Implementing applications, solutions and services developed through AI
With this grant, you will be able to finance projects that allow you to integrate AI technologies into your processes and services, thus improving the efficiency, competitiveness and innovative capacity of your business.
It includes the development of dashboards and reports that will allow you to analyze the data generated by AI, favoring better decision making based on accurate information.
04_ Improve efficiency and competitiveness by applying AI to your production processes
You will be able to optimize production by analyzing data in real time, allowing you to identify bottlenecks, predict failures and adjust operations proactively.
In addition, AI facilitates the automation of repetitive and routine tasks, such as quality control and predictive maintenance, reducing both downtime and operating costs, and improving the accuracy and speed of production activities.
Moreover, this help supports you in improving data governance, a fundamental aspect to take full advantage of AI, ensuring efficient and secure management of business-critical information. It will also enable you to develop more robust infrastructures for data storage and processing, which is essential for handling the volume of information that AI requires.
In this way, AI not only optimizes your production processes, but also enables your company to be more agile and competitive in a changing market environment.
