Bringing the fishing sector closer to reality, facilitating the boarding of students from training courses to complete their vocational training, promoting youth employment in the fishing sector and encouraging the rejuvenation of the fleet’s workforce, thus guaranteeing generational replacement.
1.- Aid under the de minimis regime to fishing companies to enable students to spend training periods on fishing vessels.
2.- Aid for training practice in the reality of the fishing sector, making it easier for fishing shipping companies to embark students of nautical-fishing training cycles by means of economic support for the expenses incurred in each embarkation period.
1.- The stay will be carried out on fishing vessels, either with a home port in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, or on fishing vessels belonging to shipowners whose work base is in the ACBC.
2.- The duration of the boarding period will be a period equivalent to one fishing trip, which, approximately, can be between 20 or 30 days, depending on several variable factors.
3.- Each beneficiary will be able to incorporate up to two students during a training stay.
4.- The training stay must take place in the period between the end of the teaching period of the training cycle and the beginning of the following teaching period.
5.- The student on placement must be monitored and tutored, and this will take the form of an initial report on the tasks to be carried out, and a final report assessing the placement period and what the student has learnt.
