Niak is a technology startup specialized in advanced solutions for the poultry industry and agribusiness in general. We integrate advanced sensor technology with generative artificial intelligence through Aura®, our AI system, to optimize production management and environmental monitoring.

Our AGO® Micro Stations collect real-time data on critical factors such as air quality, temperature, humidity and gases (CO, CO2, NH3), in addition to monitoring animal welfare and nutrition. This data is processed by Aura®, which generates predictive analytics and personalized recommendations to maximize production efficiency, improve animal welfare and reduce environmental and human health impacts.  The Niak ecosystem offers comprehensive solutions that include real-time data collection, autonomous monitoring, remote access and advanced predictive modeling. The combination of our AGO® Micro Stations with the Aura® system guarantees a unique solution that enhances sustainability and productivity, positioning Niak as a strategic ally to transform agribusiness.

What is your added value?

Niak Labs’ iAgro project stands out for its comprehensive approach to production optimization in the agro-technology sector, specifically in the poultry industry, through the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced automation. This combination of technologies allows the creation of disruptive solutions that not only monitor production environments in real time, but also enable predictive and automated decision making, transforming the way production operations are managed. 

Our technological proposal, the AGO® Micro Stations, are distinguished by their ability to collect real-time data on critical factors such as temperature, humidity, air quality and gases (CO, CO2, NH3), among others, in a single gadget, which we have called Smart Hybrid Infrastructure due to its comprehensive nature. What makes them truly innovative, in addition to their compactness and robustness, is their ability to process this data through generative artificial intelligence, which enables accurate predictions and the automation of decisions that improve animal welfare, optimize productivity and reduce environmental impact.

This dynamic, predictive and proactive approach surpasses the capabilities of traditional monitoring systems, which only collect data without providing actionable analysis or recommendations. Why did you decide to bet on Euskadi, what institutional support have you had?

We chose the Basque Country because it is a region that combines a strong industrial tradition with an innovative vision and a clear commitment to sustainability and advanced technology. Its entrepreneurial ecosystem, characterized by strategic clusters and a focus on public-private collaboration, provides an environment conducive to the development of disruptive projects. In addition, the quality of its human capital, its international connectivity and institutional support for research and innovation make the Basque Country an ideal place to promote initiatives that seek a global impact. What resources in the Basque Country would you recommend to future investors? (logistics, qualification of people, R&D network, institutional support, supplier network, quality of life, soil qualities,…).

We would recommend two key resources of the Basque Country for future investors. Firstly, its R&D network, which is one of the most advanced in Europe, supported by specialized research and technology centers. This facilitates the development of innovative and high-impact technological projects.

Secondly, institutional support is remarkable, with specific programs to attract and accompany investors, as well as incentives that encourage the installation and growth of companies in the region. These resources make the Basque Country a favorable environment for innovation and business development.

How do you envision the company in 10 years (product range, markets, employees, …)?

In 10 years, we envision our company as a benchmark in technological solutions for productive sectors, with an expanded range of products based on artificial intelligence, sensors and automation. We plan to be present in key markets, with a highly qualified multidisciplinary team and a consolidated network of strategic R&D partners. In addition, we will prioritize sustainability and positive impact on value chains.
