MEETING POINT FOR ALL AGENTS IN THE VALUE CHAIN OF FOOD, WOOD AND RURAL AND COASTAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY

Objetive
Support for the development of R&D projects through the incorporation of research personnel with doctoral degrees and the completion of industrial doctorates, both in companies located or having a production facility in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country and in certain agents of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network, favoring labor insertion from the beginning of their professional careers and raising the competitiveness of the Basque productive fabric by incorporating talent in it. It has two different lines of support:
Hiring of people with doctoral degrees for their dedication to R&D projects developed by the beneficiary entities.
Training of industrial doctoral students by co-financing the labor costs of research personnel in training who participate in an industrial research project, within the areas of specialization of the PCTI 2030, in which ONURADUNAK will frame their doctoral thesis.
Targeting
Companies located or having a production facility in the Basque Country and agents integrated in the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network, in the categories of Cooperative Research Centers, Technology Centers and Business R&D Units.
Description
Minimum annual remuneration and amounts of eligible costs and stays (article 5 of the Resolution of February 13, 2024)
- For the hiring of persons with a doctoral degree, the minimum gross annual remuneration is set at 32,000 euros. The eligible expenses for this line are:
Contract costs.
Indirect costs: Per person hired, the maximum annual amount of eligible costs will not exceed 60,000 euros. - For the line of industrial doctoral students, the minimum gross annual remuneration is set at 20,000 euros. The eligible expenses for this line are:
Contract costs.
Indirect costs.
Travel and accommodation expenses: The maximum eligible expenditure during the entire training period is set at 12,000 euros. Eligible living expenses shall not exceed 50 euros per day of stay per person hired, the maximum annual amount of eligible costs shall not exceed 40,000 euros.
