Gauzatu International SPRI

Objetive

Industrial aid to provide financing in the form of refundable loans at a zero rate to support productive investments by Basque companies abroad. Investments must be made within 3 years and the principal is subsequently repaid in equal installments over the following five years, after a one-year grace period.

Description

5M € in aid to facilitate internationalization, improve positioning and increase the competitiveness of Basque companies abroad.
The Gauzatu Internacional aid program has been designed with the purpose of promoting the establishment of both SMEs and large Basque companies abroad, providing them with the necessary resources and financing to increase their competitiveness and improve their international positioning.

This program promotes the establishment, expansion and renovation of production facilities or technical services linked to production, of Basque companies abroad, as well as the acquisition of foreign companies, provided that the Basque company has a majority shareholding in them.

In this way, we want to support the consolidation of Basque companies at an international level, improving their presence in the foreign market as a formula to increase their performance, competitiveness and, therefore, their future viability.

Each company may submit only one application and the support will take the form of interest-free, refundable financing, granted in annual payments in proportion to the investments made and which must be repaid over five years from the second year after the completion of the investment project.

Gauzatu Internacional offers:
Up to 1M € per company to develop an internationalization project.

Opening, expanding or renovating facilities abroad.

Acquire foreign companies that serve as a gateway to that country.

Interest-free loans to be repaid in 5 years, with a 1-year grace period, from the end of the investment.

Gauzatu International helps you to
Acquire new land, buildings and furniture for your company.
Equip them with machinery, tools, technical installations or other facilities.
Acquire equipment and computer programs for information processing.
Industrial property and patent expenses.
Acquisition of foreign companies.
* The participation of the Basque company must be in the majority, except when legally required.
* The purchase must have been formalized before the aid is resolved.

Amount of the 2025 call
5,000,000 € (sum of payment credit and commitment credits).
