“Lehiatu Inversión” programme

Objetive

Grants for transforming and commercialising agricultural and food products and products from fishing and aquaculture. The grants fall under an investment programme, which may be annual or multiannual, depending on the execution deadline for the projects presented and the time when payments are made.

Targeting

  • Legal or natural persons who meet eligibility conditions.

Description

There are four lines:

  • Grants to invest in transformation, commercialisation or development of agricultural products.
  • Grants to invest in the transformation and commercialisation of forestry products.
  • Grants to invest in transformation and commercialisation of fish and aquaculture products.
  • Grants to invest in agricultural and food industries in the Basque Country that do not fall under the other sections.

Aid by means of a direct subsidy for a percentage of eligible investments. This is limited to a maximum percentage of the grant at 40% of the amount of the eligible investment:

  • The construction, purchase or improvement of immovable assets.
  • The purchase, or financial lease with mandatory purchase option, of new machinery and equipment to the product’s market value.
  • General costs related to sections a) and b) (professional fees, consulting feasibility studies).
  • The purchase or development of IT programmes, purchase of patents and licenses.
