Lehiatu Investment Program

Objetive

Aid for the processing and marketing of agricultural and food products. The aids will be adjusted to an investment program, which may be annual or multiannual, depending on the period of execution of the projects presented, and the moment in which the payments are made.

Targeting

Individuals or legal entities and meet the eligibility conditions.

Description

There are several lines:

Aids for the realization of investments in the transformation, marketing or development of agricultural products.
Aid for investments in the transformation and marketing of forestry products.
Aid for investments in the agricultural and food industries in the Basque Country that do not fit into the other sections.
Aid by means of direct subsidy on a percentage of the eligible investments. It is limited to a maximum aid percentage of 40% of the amount of the eligible investment:

The construction, acquisition or improvement of real estate.
The purchase, or leasing with a compulsory purchase option, of new machinery and equipment up to the market value of the product.
General costs related to points 1 and 2 (professional fees, consulting, feasibility studies).
The acquisition or development of computer programs, acquisition of patents and licenses.

Grant type

Bankruptcy. Direct subsidy on a percentage of the eligible investments made.
