Objetive

Industrial aid. Support to the intra-entrepreneurial activity within the Basque companies, in order to promote new innovative and/or technology-based business projects, industrial and/or services linked to the industrial product-process, supervised by a “Business Innovation Center” (BIC) of those existing in the Basque Autonomous Community, in the phases of maturity of the idea and start-up of the company in the Basque Autonomous Community.

Targeting

Aid for the preparation of the New Business Generation Plan, for the continuous promotion of the generation of new economic activity. This aid will be considered as a non-refundable subsidy.
>Aid to accompany the company in the process of maturing of the idea and development of the business plan, until the start-up. This aid will be considered as a non-refundable subsidy.
Aid addressed to SME companies to facilitate the access to the financing of the necessary investments to carry out the business plan and which will be materialized by means of the reduction of the financial cost for the loan operations which are formalized under this regulation and according to the agreement signed with LUZARO for this purpose.

Description

Support for companies in the development of new businesses and diversification into new activities, products and services arising from new opportunities.
The Intrapreneurship Support Initiative, led by the Basque Government and SPRI, is aimed at the entrepreneurial ecosystem and companies through the BICs of Araba, Gipuzkoa, BIC Bizkaia Ezkerraldea and BEAZ. It aims to support innovative or technological projects in diversification processes that contribute to generating new economic activity, new lines of business and/or new companies.

In situations of crisis and uncertainty such as the current one, entrepreneurial projects and companies require specific advice and support. Thus, we have activated and reinforced the services offered by the BICS to entrepreneurial companies, launching 3 different lines of support aimed at defining, implementing and financing intra-entrepreneurship projects.

Intrapreneurship Support helps you with

• Information, guidance on where to find the necessary resources.
• Mentoring, for the design of the intra-entrepreneurial project, and advice throughout the development of the project.
• Infrastructure, availability of space for the location of business projects.
• Training, to create entrepreneurial capabilities in the organization, manage diversification projects, support existing talent or develop corporate intrapreneurship programs.
• Collaboration and networking spaces between companies, with startups, etc.
• Contact with Basque startups that can support the development of the diversification project with new applications, technologies, etc.

Barnekintzaile offers three different lines of aid to define the project, to start it up and to finance intrapreneurship projects:

Line 0_

New business generation plan
Aid to develop a New Business Generation Plan to discover, analyze and prioritize possible opportunities for new economic activities, for possible submission to Line 1.

Up to 70% of the consultancy costs, with a limit of 30.000€ to develop the New Business Generation Plan that includes:

• Brief diagnosis of the company’s competitive and new business situation.
• Design of the new business generation plan
• Start-up report of the plan

Line 1_.

Intrapreneurship Support helps you with
Information, guidance on where to find the necessary resources.

Barnekintzaile offers you three different lines of aid for

Accompaniment and maturation of the idea.
Aid for the accompaniment in the process of maturing the idea and defining a Business Plan that allows its implementation.

Up to 100% of the eligible expenses, with a limit of 30,000 euros for expenses in:

• Business and specific training
• Expenses for consulting and external technical assistance
• Prospecting studies and documentation
• Attendance at trade fairs, business prospecting trips
• Production of models and prototypes
• Other expenses approved by the BIC tutor of the project.

Line 2_ Access to financing

Access to financing
Aids aimed at enabling intra-entrepreneurship projects in Line 1 to easily access the necessary financing to carry out the defined Business Plan.

You will receive a subsidy for 20% of the loan granted and the interest accrued during the first two years.

Loans to finance investments in tangible fixed assets (except land and buildings) and intangible fixed assets:

• Loans of between 40,000 and 180,000 euros.
• Interest: 6-month Euribor + 1.25%.
• 7 year amortization period and 2 year grace period with quarterly installments.
• No origination and study fees
• With the only guarantee of committing to execute the Business Plan.
