Objetive
Support for Industrial Research and Experimental Development projects that address Technology Transfer from technology suppliers to industrial companies, in the field of ICTs applied to advanced manufacturing and 5G, which have a demonstration effect and allow accelerating the transfer to the market of the results of R&D projects in ICTs. And support for quantum technologies projects.
Targeting
Individuals and legal entities that carry out business activities, regardless of the size of the company. They must have an activity center in the Basque Autonomous Community, where they will carry out the eligible activity.
Description
The Smart Industry aid program is a Basque Industry 4.0 evolution that subsidizes with up to 300,000 €, Industrial Research and Experimental Development projects that address Technology Transfer from R & D agents to industrial companies in Advanced Manufacturing. Thus, we want to provide Basque companies with the necessary resources and tools to implement innovations from technology suppliers and improve their competitiveness and market positioning.
The grants are aimed at industrial companies or companies related to industry and advanced services that develop, together with their R&D agents, projects in the field of ICTs applied to Advanced Manufacturing, which have a demonstration effect and allow accelerating the transfer to the market obtained through the results of the R&D projects in ICTs.
Areas of eligible projects
The projects must be related to one of the following areas, within the scope of CPSs (Cyber Physical Systems) applied to Advanced Manufacturing:
Cybersecurity
Cloud Computing
Artificial Intelligence
Quantum Computing
Collaborative Robotics
Augmented/Virtual/Mixed Reality
Sensorics, IoT, Industrial Communications.
Design and additive manufacturing in metallic and advanced materials (ceramics, composites, etc.).
Advanced materials and processes projects
5G technology implementation projects in sensor technology, wireless communications and industrial plant data processing, Industry 4.0, mobility and energy efficiency projects and social and health transition.
