Objetive

Support for the incorporation of digital and sustainable technologies in the design and development of products and services of manufacturing companies through feasibility analysis projects, advice and technical support on the assets that make up the Basque Digital Innovation Hub (BDIH) in the fields of flexible and collaborative robotics, additive manufacturing, cybersecurity, connected machines, advanced materials, medical devices and digital health and digital power grids.

The projects developed may be focused on:

  • Elaborate an Action Plan to increase their absorption capacity for these technologies.
  • Carry out a proof of concept.

Targeting

For industrial and related services companies located in the Basque Country.
Companies of any size, from self-employed to large companies.
The project must have one or more BDIH agents, or an IHL agent that will develop an action plan or a pilot test to incorporate digital and sustainable technologies.
It is essential that the projects have an impact on their workplaces in the Basque Country, where the eligible activity must be carried out.

Description

The Basque Digital Innovation Hub (BDIH) consists of a network of testing and validation infrastructures, pilot plants and know-how specialized in Additive Manufacturing, Flexible and Collaborative Robotics, Cybersecurity, Smart and Connected Machines and Advanced Materials, Data Driven Solutions, Digital Grids and Medical Devices and Digital Health, all of them key technologies for a digital and sustainable Industry.

This network of digital innovation centers provides Basque industrial companies, especially SMEs with access to the most advanced technologies in smart industry, energy and health, boosting their digital transformation in a sustainable way. Its training, research, testing and validation services, and personalized advice help companies to innovate, create new products and services, improve their efficiency and productivity, and adapt to the challenges of smart industry.

BIDH Konexio is a line of grants aimed at financing this technical support for the development of an action plan or the realization of a proof of concept to increase the absorption capacity of digital and sustainable technologies.

Thus, this aid program offers non-refundable subsidies of up to 80% of the expenses with limits of €12,000 for projects developed in collaboration with a BDIH agent, €20,000 if carried out with more than one BDIH agent and €15,000 in the event that the project is carried out with a European DIH.

20,000 per company to access, with expert technical support, the infrastructure, experimentation and testing possibilities offered by the BDIH or certain European DIHs.

02_ Elaboration of an action plan or realization of a concept test

Aiming to improve the company’s ability to adopt and effectively use digital technologies in its operation and achieve greater competitiveness in the market.

03_ 8 nodes available for transforming companies through technology

Flexible robotics, additive manufacturing, cybersecurity, smart and connected machines, advanced materials, digital power grids, and medical devices and digital health.
