Objetive

Economically support gastronomic initiatives deemed strategic in the gastronomy and food sector: new gastronomic businesses by freshly-graduated personnel, and consolidation of excellence for restaurant business of recognised prestige. Two grant programmes are established:

  • Programme to promote new gastronomic projects.
  • Programmes to consolidate excellence.

Targeting

  • Natural persons who are going to undertake or who have directly undertake gastronomic management of the new business.
  • Legal persons from the private sector: only those where the individual undertaking gastronomic or culinary management of the business holds more than 50%. Not-for-profit entities or associations are excluded.

Description

Subsidy. Eligible costs are:

  • Programme to promote new gastronomic projects: works to refurbish premises and construction fees and management; machinery and installations; equipment, furniture, tools. The minimum investment in fixed assets is 60,000€.
  • Programmes to consolidate excellence. In addition to the costs in the previous programme, the Assessment Plan to drive for excellence is included. The minimum investment in fixed assets is 100,000€.

Up to a maximum of 40% of eligible investment is established, with a maximum of 50,000€/project for new projects and 100,000€/project for excellence consolidation.
